De Muerte Lenta
Graduate Studio Project
Scope: Graphic Design
Being born in Colombia, a country with around 433 native fruit species, shaped the creation of this zine as a design-led exploration of biodiversity. Fruit becomes both subject and medium, connecting flavor, place, and cultural memory.
De Muerte Lenta is a zine that examines Colombia’s most striking native fruits alongside the shadows behind their sweetness. It highlights representative species, their places of origin, and their flavor notes, inviting a slower, more reflective way of tasting and looking.
